Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: 28 July 2026

  1. Who You Are Contracting With

These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the services provided by Pharmelle Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17205229), whose registered office is at Suite 16, 75 Harley Street, London W1G 8QL, trading as The Body Composition Clinic (“BCC”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

By booking a consultation or otherwise using our services, you (“you”, “the patient”) agree to be bound by these Terms.

  1. The Nature of Our Service

BCC is a clinician-led weight management service. Our role is to provide clinical assessment, prescribing, monitoring, and coordination of your treatment, delivered remotely by video consultation. Where medication or blood testing forms part of your care, this is coordinated on your behalf as part of a clinical service.

  1. Eligibility

To use our services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Reside in the UK, with a permanent UK address.
  • Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information at all times, including in your intake form, during consultations, and in any communication with us.

We reserve the right to decline or discontinue treatment if you do not meet our eligibility criteria, or if the information you provide is found to be inaccurate or incomplete.

  1. Our Services

We offer the following services, each described in full on our website:

  • Initial Consultation — a clinical video assessment with your prescriber.
  • Initial Consultation + Investigation — a clinical video assessment, with your first blood test arranged for you through our blood testing partner.
  • Ongoing Monthly Care — your continued treatment following a successful initial consultation, comprising monthly consultations, quarterly blood testing, prescribing, and clinical monitoring.

Full details of what each service includes are set out on our website and in the documentation provided to you at each stage of your care.

  1. No Guarantee of Treatment

Booking a consultation, and completing any associated blood tests, does not guarantee that treatment will be offered to you. Every patient is individually assessed by their prescriber, who will determine whether treatment is clinically appropriate based on your full clinical picture. Your prescriber’s decision is final and is made in your best clinical interest.

  1. Booking and Payment

Your Initial Consultation or Initial Consultation + Investigation is paid for at the time of booking.

Ongoing Monthly Care operates on an invoice basis. Each month, you will receive an invoice for your upcoming month of care, payable before your next appointment. There is no automatic or recurring charge — you are only ever charged when you choose to pay an invoice. If payment is not received, your appointment and treatment may be placed on hold, as set out in our Frequently Asked Questions and Your Rights documentation.

  1. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds are governed by our Cancellation and Refund Policy, available on our website, which forms part of these Terms.

  1. Your Obligations

As a condition of receiving care from us, you agree to the obligations set out in our Your Obligations documentation, available on our website, including providing accurate information, completing required submissions on time, attending scheduled consultations, and informing your prescriber promptly of any changes to your health.

  1. Prescribing and Clinical Responsibility

Your treatment is prescribed and overseen by a qualified pharmacist independent prescriber, registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). Clinical services are delivered under the CQC registration of Renovar Ventures Ltd, our registered service provider, which holds overall responsibility for the clinical governance framework within which BCC operates.

All prescribing decisions are made independently by your prescriber, based on their clinical judgement and your individual circumstances. BCC does not influence or override individual clinical decisions.

  1. Medication and Dispensing

Where medication forms part of your treatment, it is prescribed by your BCC prescriber and dispensed by our pharmacy partner, a GPhC-registered pharmacy operating under a valid MHRA Wholesale Dealer Authorisation. BCC does not hold a pharmacy licence and does not itself dispense, store, or supply medication.

  1. Blood Testing

Where blood testing forms part of your treatment, this is arranged through our accredited blood testing partner. Details of the testing options available to you, and the requirements for providing your own blood test results, are set out on our website and in the documentation provided to you at each stage of your care.

  1. Data Protection

We process your personal and clinical data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Full details of how we collect, use, and protect your data are set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Details of how to request a copy of your data are set out in our Subject Access Request Policy.

  1. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability which cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

  1. Website Use and Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and design, is the property of Pharmelle Ltd or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or otherwise use any content from our website without our prior written consent.

  1. Complaints

If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, you may raise a complaint in accordance with our Complaints Policy, available on our website.

  1. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or operational practices. The version in effect at the time of your booking will apply to that booking. Continued use of our services after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

  1. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
